About Walker's Dance Troupe
Walker's Dance Troupe was established to allow dancers to perform at other venues and open up doors to different dance experiences. Participation is by invitation, and is based on faculty assessment of a student's technique and performance quality, age, number of hours of training, and style compatibility with other dancers.
The Dance Troupe participates in a number of local competitions and conventions each season between January and April. These competitions provide dancers with an opportunity to perform in a variety of venues for different audiences and judges, to develop a sense of "team", and to receive numerous awards. Many competitions offer cash prizes for top scoring pieces. At Walker's, 100% of all CASH prizes won is awarded to the DANCERS!!!
